Over the years I have earned a Professional Photographers of America Active Acheivment Degree (over 25 print competition “merits”). I am currently working on my Photography Masters Degree.

I have been re-energized to pursue my Masters Degree since I purchased digital backs for my “medium-format” cameras. (Hasselblads and Mamiya RB67s shown in photo at right). These cameras have incredible resolution and superior optics. Most photographers use “35mm” type cameras, but there is no comparison with medium-format. No comparison. Period.

My philosophy has been to shoot every photo session as if it were going to win a print competition merit. More importantly, my goal is to make my subject, their loved ones, and their friends SMILE when they they see the images I have created for them.
